I needed a hip replacement but like everyone else I had to wait for this, I came to Alpha Physio & saw Jimmy. Over the next few weeks & Months Jimmy was hands on with me & got me to walk a lot better than I had been able to do while I was waiting for this operation. He also encouraged me to keep swimming & with his help he got me back in the pool. I have now had my hip replaced & I can now walk & swim and drive just like I used to be able to do. Excellent service all round. Not just my physical issues but every session started with my whole wellbeing… I went in not being able to walk and feeling down. I decided to get 10 session package at a very good price and after finishing all the sessions I am back to my normal routine. Thank you Lyndsey and the team for being excellent! Claire listens carefully to explore your problem, she explains the underlying mechanics behind your injury issue, and provided a balanced exercise regime to address the troubles along with the reasonings and objectives behind it to help you fully understand how and why it should work.

My first time using physio after getting injured playing football, and Alpha couldn't have been more helpful. Claire was great in helping me understand what I needed to do to get back to full fitness and broke it down stage by stage for me. A very professional yet friendly experience. My physio (Molly) took time to carefully diagnose an issue I was having with a knee. Having diagnosed the problem she advised a series of exercises that over about a 2 month period cured the problem.

I had real problems with my shoulder, back and hip, which have all been very nearly resolved. I can walk a reasonable distance again with no pain, where before I could not even walk 100m without being in a lot of pain.
I can also swim again - something that, again, I wasn't able to do without a lot of pain.
