At Alpha Physiotherapy we combine the latest 3D Gait Analysis technology alongside Physiotherapy expertise to help free you from injury.
Using the Footscan® system together with the revolutionary 3D printed Phits™ orthotic and insole, we specifically design your insole based on your dynamic gait analysis ensuring optimal efficiency, superior stability and extreme durability.
Footscan® technology allows us to measure specific loading patterns occurring in the foot and ankle during gait. This cutting-edge pressure force platform analyses your gait in walking and/or running and pinpoints the pressures your put through your feet whilst moving. This collects dynamic movement data which creates the design of your 3D printed insoles.
Phits™ insoles are at the forefront of 3D printing. Alongside the Footscan® technology, we create a bespoke custom orthotic and insole that is designed specifically to help you and your needs.
Orthotics and Insoles Are A Great Choice For..
✓ Pain your heel or ball of your foot
✓ Achilles or Peroneal tendon problems
✓ Plantar Fasciitis or heel spurs
✓ Injury prevention
✓ Customising the fit of running, cycling, golf, work shoes and football boots
✓ Ankle, knee, hip or lower back pain

✓ Collapsed arches or Tibialis Posterior tendon problems
✓ Stress fractures or neuromas
Historically insoles were made from looking at you standing still, and made from a static mould of your foot. At Alpha we look at the data from your standing, walking, running and even with your shoes on to get the true detail of how you move.
Video analysis of your walking or running simply is not enough either. Injury and your ability is determined by forces and to measure forces you need to know how you move. While there may be many contributing factors to the development of an injury – it is ultimately the forces applied and our body’s ability to tolerate these forces that leads to an issue developing.
At Alpha Physiotherapy, we can precisely measure both motion and forces being applied to each leg to diagnose what’s been causing the issue. This gives invaluable information about how you move and what is the best way to become pain free.
Insoles for Running and Sports
Phits insoles can be customised for sports including running, cycling, football, skiing and golf.
If you are looking to stay active and move well, orthotics are a great choice. They are the best way to make your running shoes fit properly. Most people have one foot slightly bigger than the other and also most people's feet move very differently left and right. This means that running shoes are never a true fit for both feet. With 3D printed orthotics we can make sure your sports shoes precisely fit your foot movement.
Phits orthotics are used by professional athletes from sports including running, cycling, football, golf, and skiing, to optimise performance and reduce injury risk. They are one of the strongest, lightest and most durable insoles available.

Work in logistics? Healthcare? Construction and Heavy Industries?
If you’re not working behind a desk all day, you understand the importance of healthy feet and adequate footwear to be able to perform at work.
You may need to be on your feet all day long, putting your feet under stress and at different angles. Often not only do our feet become sore, but our ankles, knees, hips and lower back as well.
Don’t let your feet cause you any stress and give them the support they need. Alongside our state of the art assessment and 3D printing, we are able to offer additional cushioning using the D30 material which provides optimal comforts, impact protection and energy return.
We also offer a safety orthotic where the top cover is anti-static.
