Jimmy specialises in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has many years of experience in Professional Football where he directs the development, treatment and rehabilitation of players.
Having previously worked as a Specialist Physiotherapist in the NHS and private practice, Jimmy developed a keen interest in the assessment and treatment of back, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle problems.
Jimmy is recently left his role as Head of Sports Science and Medicine at Ipswich Town Football Club and has worked with a number of clubs as well as The FA. Jimmy is was lead clinician in charge of all Physiotherapy, medical and performance support services (Sports Science, Psychology, Strength & Conditioning, and Nutrition) for the Academy, and a developed the program that was ranked in the top 5 in the country.
Jimmy has had the pleasure of working alongside some of Europe’s leading Orthopaedic surgeons and has a proven track record of providing expert care and rehabilitation that not only returns the person to their respective sports, but also prevents further injuries.
Jimmy has lectured on The FA Football courses on best practice of how to physically develop football players and continues to teach first aid courses as an FA Medical Tutor.
Jimmy likes to consider himself something of a coffee connoisseur and enjoys spending his precious spare time with his young family.
